McNish partnered with Boyne Capital, a Miami, FL-based Private Equity firm that seeks to forge lasting and collaborative relationships with companies and support them in achieving their next phase of growth.
Opportunity
Reporting to The Board and the CEO, the CFO is a key partner to the executive leadership team and liaison to the PE-sponsor in the execution of the company’s strategic growth and achievement of financial goals. We are seeking a driven professional to support and improve the accounting/finance infrastructure, financially integrate add-on acquisitions, take a hands-on approach in leading the daily operations of the department, implement tracking tools, implement a treasury forecast process and collaborate with the functional leaders in developing and executing strategic objectives for each business unit.
Responsibilities
Manage the finance and accounting function for the business, including tax and treasury
Expand and oversee financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
Perform the monthly closing process
Participate in the planning, coordination, and implementation of the annual capital and operating budget process in collaboration with other members of the executive team
Deliver timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reports
Drive ERP enhancement (Great Plains)
Lead external audits
Complete weekly flash/KPI dashboard, and manage key third-party relationships
Assist with P&C and other insurance programs along with bonding
Play a key role in supporting the integration of addon acquisitions
Spearhead financial analysis and reporting communications with the company’s private equity sponsor
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Minimum of 5 years of audit at a national public accounting firm
Minimum of 6 years serving in Controller/VP Finance/CFO roles at a mid-sized company
Multi-location/entity financial consolidation
Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and cash flow forecasts for data capture
Exceptional analytical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Great Plains and/or NetSuite is a plus
Experience in treasury management and FP&A preferred
Manufacturing accounting experience highly preferred
Experience working in a PE-sponsored company is valued
Willing and able to be on-site
